Section 284.600 - DefinitionsAs used in NAC 284.600 to 284.6019, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. "Employee" means an employee who is in the classified service of the State. The term does not include an employee of the Nevada System of Higher Education who is in a temporary appointment as described in subsection 4 of NRS 284.325.2. "Regular position" means the position an employee held at the time: (a) Of his or her work-related injury; or(b) He or she became aware of his or her occupational disease and its relationship to his or her employment in the classified service of the State.Nev.
