A notary public seeking to register as an electronic notary public must successfully complete the required course of study on electronic notarization provided pursuant to NRS 240.195 and pay the fee charged by the Secretary of State to each person who enrolls in such a course of study. The required course of study on electronic notarization provided pursuant to NRS 240.195 and the fee for that course is in addition to the requirements imposed on the notary public to successfully complete a course of study pursuant to NRS 240.018 and to pay the fee for that course.
