Section 240.235 - Period of appointment1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, the period of appointment of a notary public begins on the effective date of the bond entered into pursuant to the provisions of NRS 240.030.2. If the bond does not have an effective date, or if no bond is required, the period of appointment begins on the date the Secretary of State signs the certificate of appointment.Nev. Admin.
