Section 240.205 - Revocation of appointment for returned check which was used to pay application fee1. If a check which is used to pay the application fee for appointment as a notary public or the fee for filing the required bond and oath is returned by a bank for lack of sufficient funds, the Secretary of State may immediately and without a hearing revoke the appointment of the notary public.2. A notary public whose appointment is revoked pursuant to this section must reapply for appointment pursuant to the provisions of NRS 240.030.Nev. Admin. Code § 240.205
