Section 228.640 - Petitions for adoption, amendment or repeal of regulations1. Any interested person may petition the Committee in writing requesting the adoption, amendment or repeal of any regulation. The petition must include relevant data, views and arguments.2. A petition requesting the adoption, amendment or repeal of a regulation shall be deemed to be submitted to the Committee 30 days after the petition is first placed on the agenda of a meeting of the Committee.3. Within 30 days after the submission of the petition, the Committee will deny the petition in writing, stating its reasons, or initiate proceedings in accordance with NRS 233B.060. Nev. Admin.
