The following are the three pre-approved detour routes for Interstate 80 in Western, Central and Eastern Nebraska:
At no time shall a permitted vehicle travel on the Nebraska State Highway System without an escort vehicle except as allowed above. If travelling on one of these detour routes without an escort, the permitted vehicle must comply with the trailer lighting requirements in Section 003.19E2.
