Subscriptions and all entries or rights of entry under them become void on the death of a subscriber, except in case of duly registered partnerships, or except subject to the sanction of the stewards, when the personal representative of an estate shall in writing, request that the benefits of such, accrue to the estate of the decedent subscribed for the privilege of transfer and shall agree to assume any and all obligations incident to the original entries.
