Section 467-3-014 - NEOPLASM DIAGNOSIS AND SERVICESThis service provides treatment for neoplastic (cancerous) diseases or non-malignant tumors when the tumor is potentially disabling.
014.01MEDICAL ELIGIBILITY CONSIDERATIONS. Common diagnoses covered are leukemia, lymphoma, Ewing's sarcoma, Wilm's tumor, rhabdomyosarcoma, neuroblastoma, astrocytoma, and osteogenic sarcoma. Other brain tumors that are potentially disabling may be considered.014.01(A)MEDICAL ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATION. The medical consultant determines medical eligibility for neoplasm.014.01(B)CERTIFICATION DATE. The certification date is the date of referral, once medical and financial eligibility is met.014.02SERVICE COMPONENTS.
