Section 186-1-002 - DEFINITIONS

Definitions set out in Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 81-653 to 81-662, § 81-663 to 81-675, and the following apply to this chapter.

002.01HEALTH PRACTITIONER. An individual who practices medicine and surgery, osteopathic medicine and surgery, or dentistry within the State of Nebraska.
002.02INITIAL DIAGNOSIS. The recognition of cancer in a patient by a health practitioner, medical examiner, facility, or coroner.
