Section 180-6-001 - SCOPE AND AUTHORITY

This chapter establishes requirements for the use of diagnostic x-ray equipment and imaging systems by or under the supervision of an individual authorized by and licensed according to State statutes to engage in the healing arts, dental healing arts, or veterinary medicine. The regulations are authorized by and implement the Nebraska Radiation Control Act, Nebraska Revised Statute (Neb. Rev. Stat.) §§ 71-3501 to 71-3520. The requirements of this chapter are in addition to, and not in substitution for, other applicable provisions of 180 NAC 1, 2, 4, 9, 10, 15, 18, and 20.
