When a dissolution of marriage occurs in Nebraska, a Certificate of Dissolution of Marriage Registration Form, provided by the Department, must be filed with the Department pursuant to requirements of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 71-602. The Department may refuse to accept for filing of a dissolution of Marriage Registration Form that is incomplete.
