Section 172-75-005 - RENEWAL, WAIVER OF CONTINUING EDUCATION, AND INACTIVE STATUSThe applicant must meet the requirements set out in 172 NAC 10 and this chapter. All hearing instrument specialist licenses expire on December 31st of each even-numbered year. Temporary hearing instrument specialist licenses expire one year from the date of issuance and may be renewed for one additional twelve-month period.
005.01WAIVERS OF CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ILLNESS OR DISABILITY. The Department may waive continuing education requirements, in whole or in part, upon submission of proof that the license holder was suffering from a serious or disabling illness or physical disability which prevented completion of the required number of continuing education hours during the 24 months immediately preceding the license renewal date.172 Neb.
