These regulations govern the licensing of funeral directors and embalmers under Nebraska Revised Statute (Neb. Rev. Stat.) §§ 38-1401 to 38-1428 of the Funeral Directing and Embalming Practice Act and the Uniform Credentialing Act. Persons providing funeral directing and embalming services to clients located in Nebraska must be licensed as a funeral director and embalmer in Nebraska unless they are exempt under the Act.
