Section 163-3-008 - Emergency Closure

Under the authority of and in compliance with sections 37309, 37-1266 and 37-1268, R.R.S. 1993, the following regulations in regard to emergency closure rules are prescribed by Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and are effective following enactment by the Game and Parks Commission, approval by the Attorney General and Governor, and when five days have elapsed since filing with the Secretary of State.

008.01 Whenever safety requirements for persons or property demand immediate action and attention, the Commission may close for any necessary period, bodies of water or portions thereof to any or all forms of boating and, by placement of notices on land or water, indicate such closure to the public.
