Section 97-3-012 - Past Due Rental; Interest Provision And Processing Fee

All rental payments are due semi-annually in the office of the Board of Educational Lands and Funds on or before the first day of January for the ensuing six-month period, and, on or before the first day of July for that ensuing six-month period. Interest at an annual rate of nine percent (9%) shall be charged on any past due balance and a processing fee of twenty-five dollars ($ 25.00) shall be charged if any rental is past due more than, thirty (30) days.
