Section 92-20-001 - General Information001.01Statutory Authority. This chapter is adopted pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 79-318.001.02Scope and Application. This chapter provides procedures for the approval of educator preparation programs conducted in Nebraska standard institutions of higher education and designed for the purpose of certificating teachers and administrators and other professional school personnel requiring certification.001.03Related Regulations. Throughout this chapter reference is made to other Department of Education regulations relating to teachers and administrators. Procedures for the issuance of certificates to teach, counsel, or supervise in Nebraska schools are contained in Title 92, Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC), Chapter 21. 92 NAC 24 contains regulations regarding the issuance of endorsements on teaching, administrative, or special services certificates in Nebraska. 92 NAC 27 contains regulations and standards for professional practices criteria.
