Section 25-10-001 - Definitions001.01 Act means the Noxious Weed Control Act and these regulations.001.02 Noxious weed means the plant, seed, or seedlings of the following weeds hereby officially designated as noxious: Canada thistle - Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.; leafy spurge - Euphorbia esula L.; musk thistle - Carduus nutans L; plumeless thistle - Carduus acanthoides L: knapweed (spotted and diffuse) - Centaurea (maculosa Lam. and diffusa Lam.); Purple Loosestrife -Lythrum salicaria L. and L.virqatum (including any cultivars and hybrids) saltcedar - Tamarix ramosissima Ledeb; Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica including all cultivars and hybrids); andgiant knotweed (Fallopia sachalinenis including all cultivars and hybrids); sericea lespedeza (Lespedeza cuneate G. Don) and phragmites australis. subspecies australis, except phragmites fully contained in an existing waste water treatment system already using phragmites australis which is operated by a political subdivision. To remain exempted from this list, phragmites australis used in a treatment system may be replanted but ail phragmites australis must be disposed of in a manner which renders them incapable of dissemination. Noxious weed shall mean the plant, seed, or seedlings of such weeds.001.03 Pesticide Act means the Nebraska Pesticide Act.25 Neb. Admin. Code, ch. 10, § 001
