Rule 36.22.303 - CLASSIFICATION OF WILDCAT OR EXPLORATORY WELLS(1) If a test for fluid productivity is made in a stratigraphic well or core hole, the well must be reclassified as "wildcat or exploratory" and is subject to all the rules of a well drilled for oil or gas.(2) Wells drilled in a delineated field to known productive horizons cannot be classified as "stratigraphic."Mont.
