Rule 17.24.713 - TIMING OF SEEDING AND PLANTING(1) Seeding and planting of disturbed areas must be conducted during the first appropriate period favorable for planting after final seedbed preparation unless a variance is approved by the department. The appropriate period favorable for planting is that planting time generally accepted locally for the type of plant materials selected to meet specific site and climatic conditions.Mont.
