Section 20 CSR 2030-5.105 - Reexaminations-Professional EngineersPURPOSE: The professional engineering exam is being transitioned to computer based testing; therefore, this rule is being amended to accommodate the policy for that transition.
(1) An applicant for enrollment as an engineer-intern failing to make a passing grade on the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Fundamentals of Engineering Examination may have unlimited opportunities to retake the examination so long as the applicant remains qualified to be examined on the date of the reexamination and providing the applicant applies for reexamination in accordance with NCEES policy. (A) The applicant applies for reexamination on forms furnished by the board; and(2) An applicant for examination and licensure as a professional engineer failing to make a passing grade on the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering Examination may have unlimited opportunities to retake the examination so long as the applicant remains qualified to be examined on the date of the reexamination and providing the applicant applies for reexamination in accordance with NCEES policy.
