Section 19 CSR 30-20.013 - Incorporation of Medicare Conditions of ParticipationPURPOSE: This amendment incorporates the Medicare Conditions of Participation, 42 CFR Part 485, Subpart E-Conditions of Participation: Rural Emergency Hospitals (REHs), into Missouri's hospital regulations.
(1) State Licensure Requirements. (A) This rule incorporates by reference 42 CFR Part 485 (2017), Medicare Conditions of Participation: Critical Access Hospitals, for Missouri licensed critical access hospitals. The Code of Federal Regulations is published by the U.S. Government and is available by calling toll-free (866) 512-1800 or going to https://bookstore.gpo.gov/. The address is: U.S. Government Publishing Office, U.S. Superintendent of Documents, Washington, DC 20402-0001. This rule incorporates later amendments and additions to 42 CFR Part 485 (2017). Missouri licensed critical access hospitals shall strictly meet the Medicare Conditions of Participation, and surveys performed for state licensure will be conducted per Medicare standards.(B) This rule incorporates by reference 42 CFR Part 482 (2017), Medicare Conditions of Participation: Hospitals, for Missouri licensed hospitals.
