Section 19 CSR 30-11.030 - Requirements and Responsibilities for Physician ConsultantsPURPOSE: This rule establishes requirements for physician consultants including qualifications and supervisory responsibilities.
(1) The physician consultant shall meet the requirements for the interpreting physician as specified in 19 CSR 20-11.040(1) and (2).(2) The physician consultant shall document in writing annually that- (A) S/he has checked the procedural manuals and observed, at least monthly, the operator's performance;(B) S/he has verified that equipment and personnel meet applicable rules of this chapter;(C) Safe operating procedures are used; and(D) All other requirements of this chapter are being met.
