Section 19 CSR 20-10.160 - Special Requirements for Mobile Medical Radiographic InstallationsPURPOSE: This rule establishes special requirements for mobile medical radiographic installations.
(1) All mobile equipment shall be provided with cones or frames so that the minimum target-to-skin distance is at least eighteen inches (18").(2) The exposure control switch shall be so arranged that the operator can stand at least six feet (6') from the patient and outside the primary beam for all exposures.(3) A device shall be provided to terminate the exposure after a preset time.
