Section 12 CSR 40-40.030 - Minority Businesses

The commission is amending the rule name, rule purpose, and section (2), and it is deleting section (1).

PURPOSE: This amendment removes a subsection that duplicates statutory language and updates the rule name and rule purpose accordingly.

PURPOSE: This rule requires ten percent (10%) of the businesses in the City of St. Louis and the City of Kansas City to be minority-owned or-controlled.

(1) The director shall select licensees to ensure that ten percent (10%) of the licensees in the City of St. Louis and the City of Kansas City are minority-owned or minority-controlled business enterprises.
