Section 11 CSR 45-55.150 - Notification of Ownership Changes

PURPOSE: This rule sets forth guidelines regarding the notification of ownership changes.

(1) Any changes in the ownership, lessee/lessor or resident manager of any registrant in the fund, whether a broodmare, stallion or racing stock, must be reported promptly to the commission in writing. It is the responsibility of the new owner, new lessee or new resident manager to report any change or details concerning rights of ownership change, such as a bill of sale. The ownership of all horses registered in the fund must correspond to the ownership listed on the registration certificate. The change of stallion ownership must be reported on a form provided by the commission.
