Section 10 CSR 100-1.010 - OrganizationPURPOSE: This rule complies with section 536.023, RSMo, which requires each agency to adopt as a rule a description of its operation and the methods by which the public may obtain information or make submissions or requests.
(1) Section 319.129, RSMo, establishes the Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund Board of Trustees. The board consists of the commissioner of administration or the commissioner's designee, the director of the Department of Natural Resources or the director's designee, the director of the Department of Agriculture or the director's designee, and eight (8) citizens appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate.(2) The board has responsibility for the general administration and proper operation of the Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund. It meets at least once each quarter of the year, and may meet more often upon the written call of the chairman of the board or by agreement of any six (6) members of the board. Six (6) trustees constitute a quorum for the transaction of business.(3) The board has authority to employ staff, contract with state agencies and contract with other parties as needed to carry out its responsibilities.(4) Requests for information about the board or its meetings, decisions, policies and activities may be directed to the executive director, Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund, P.O. Box 836, Jefferson City, MO 65102.
