NO OTHER SEASON shall be open and no other animals shall be hunted or disturbed.

B. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. WMA USER PERMIT: All persons using this wildlife management area, except those exempt from purchasing an annual hunting or fishing license, must carry on their person an annual statewide Wildlife Management Area User Permit. This permit is required in addition to completing the daily visitor use permit or by using the WMA Check-In App and any required license and may be purchased wherever licenses are sold.
2. BAG LIMITS: Same as statewide bag limits.
3. LEGAL SHOT: Only non-toxic shot may be used for hunting waterfowl.
4. DUCK HUNTING PERMITS: All duck hunts, except for the youth/veteran/Active Military hunts and early teal season, are draw hunts only. You may apply online at www.mdwfp.com. See application for hunt dates, application deadlines, and other information about permitted hunts. Early teal season hunting is allowed in the borrow area only (see map at www.mdwfp.com/wma).
5. DOG RESTRICTIONS:
a. Retrievers allowed during migratory game bird hunts. All other dogs are prohibited.
b. Hunting, running, or pursuing hogs with the use of dogs is prohibited.
6. OFF-ROAD MOTORIZED VEHICLES/ATVs: ORVs/ATVs/Electric Bicycles are allowed on designated roads or trails for hunting access only. No vehicles allowed on impoundment levees. Additionally, electric bicycles may be ridden on marked foot-traffic trails only by users 65 years of age and older. They may not be ridden on any leveed roads or trails.
7. HORSES: No horses allowed.
8. CAMPING: No camping allowed.
9. SHOOTING HOURS: Shooting hours for waterfowl end at 12 p.m. Waterfowl hunters must check-out by 1 p.m., except during the youth, Veteran, and Active Military waterfowl hunt which shall run concurrent with the statewide waterfowl youth, Veteran, and Active Military hunt.
10. OTHER MIGRATORY GAME BIRDS: All other migratory game birds may be hunted in assigned units while on permitted waterfowl hunts during the legal season for the species. Outside of the duck season, migratory game birds may be hunted daily on the WMA during the legal season for that species.
11. NON-HUNTING USE OF THE AREA: During Waterfowl seasons, non-hunting use of the area is allowed by foot traffic only on Sundays and Tuesdays from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m.
12. FISHING:
a. No fishing from November 1 - February 15.
b. Fishing is allowed from sunrise to sunset.
c. Only bank fishing and non-motorized boats may be used.
d. Daily Creel Limits:
i. Largemouth bass: 5 per day.
ii. Crappie: 20 per day.
iii. Bream: 100 per day.
iv. Catfish: 10 per day.
