In order to help local officials and developers consider highway traffic noise in the vicinity of proposed Type I projects, MDOT will include a copy of the noise study report in the Categorical Exclusion (CE), Environmental Assessment (EA), Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), or environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed project.
