From and after the date of its designation as an official Mississippi Scenic Byway by the Legislature as provided in Section 65-41-11 MCA, no Outdoor Advertising structures may be erected that are visible from said Scenic Byway. MDOT shall have full jurisdiction over scenic byways and these regulations shall apply. All signs or advertising structures existing prior to the designation of said Scenic Byway shall be considered and maintained as nonconforming signs under this Rule.
