Driveways shall not be permitted to connect with any highway, road, street or frontage road at a location if it does not meet the minimum stopping sight distance (as outlined in the current edition, and any interim requirements, of the MDOT Roadway Design Manual-using 3R criteria and the MDOT Access Management Manual, Section 4, Geometric Requirements, Sight Distances), vertical or horizontal alignment, terrain or other reasons which will cause an undue hazard to the traveling public.
