The Mississippi Department of Transportation sets an annual Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal each year in accordance with 49 CFR, Part 26. The Department's goal for DBE participation is met by assigning a percentage goal to appropriate construction and consultant contracts that is let for bids. The contractor must agree to this goal and submit required paperwork.
