Chapter II, Parts E-F of the most current version of the approved State Management Plan defines local match. Unless specifically authorized by DOT/FTA guidance or regulations local match for federally funded projects must be from non-FTA sources. Local match can include local, state, unrestricted Federal funds or funds derived from purchase of service contracts.
