Rule 33-212-5.2 - Maintaining a Cross Connection

If the owner of a connection, after having been informed that a cross connection exists at the connection or otherwise is required at the connection, refuses to eliminate or protect the cross connection through installation of the appropriate backflow preventer, water service to the connection shall be terminated without further notice until such time as the owner furnishes to the District evidence of compliance with these regulations and Mississippi State Department of Health regulations.
