Each reduced pressure principle backflow prevention assembly, double check valve assembly, and pressure vacuum breaker shall be tested immediately after installation, after repairs of any kind, and annually. Any backflow preventer found to be non-functional shall be repaired and re-tested within fourteen (14) days of the initial test.
