Rule 31-9-5.18 - Policies relating to animals at the facility1. If animals or pets are kept at the facility, written policies shall be developed for their care.2. Animals shall have current immunizations as recommended by a veterinarian. A record of immunizations shall be kept on file at the facility.3. Animals that represent a hazard to juveniles shall be excluded from the facility. 4. The pet area of each facility shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. No animal or bird shall be in the kitchen while food is being prepared. Miss. Code Ann. §§ 43-21-901 to 43-21-915 (Rev. 2016).
