Rule 31-9-5.15 - Weapons are prohibited in the facility1. Weapons are prohibited on facility premises.2. The facility employs adequate security measures to ensure that neither youth nor staff bring weapons into the facility.3. The facility properly stores and secures objects that can be used as weapons (e.g., kitchen utensils, chemicals, maintenance equipment).4. No weapons shall be permitted in the facility. Secure weapons lockers shall be provided for storage of any weapons carried by visiting law enforcement officers. Miss. Code Ann. §§ 43-21-901 to 43-21-915 (Rev. 2016).
