The Board issues a generic license; it does not recognize specialty areas of practice through licensure. The Board expects the psychologist to practice only in areas in which he or she is deemed competent by virtue of his or her education and training. The Board also expects the psychologist to use in any public statement only those titles to which the psychologist is entitled.
