Rule 30-2201-8.3 - SanctionsThe Board may impose any of the following sanctions, singly or in combination, when it finds that a Licensee is guilty of any of the offenses including but not limited to those referred to in Rule 8.1.
A. Reprimand: A Reprimand is an issuance of a letter of official reprimand to the Licensee as public rebuke and possible sanction by the Board for misconduct in the practice of counseling. The Board may require specific follow-up actions by the counselor;B. Refusal to renew licensure;C. Restriction or limitation of the individual's scope of practice;D. Probation: Probation is a stay of suspension or revocation allowing the limited practice within conditions stipulated by the Board. Violation of any of these conditions may result in suspension or revocation;E. Suspension: Suspension is the withdrawal of privilege to practice for a specified period of time; orF. Revocation: Revocation is the withdrawal of privilege to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Mississippi.30 Miss. Code. R. 2201-8.3
