Rule 30-2101-7.6 - Linens and TowelsA. Only freshly laundered or new disposable linens or towels can be used on each client. B. After linens and towels have been used, they must be deposited in a closed receptacle, and cannot be used again until properly laundered and sanitized. C. Used linens and towels must be laundered either by regular commercial laundering or by a non-commercial laundering process which includes the following treatment: Immersion in water at 160° F. for not less than five minutes at some time during the wash or rinsing operation. All linens are to be disinfected during the wash cycle using detergent. D. All clean linens and towels are to be stored in a closed container of solid construction. E. A sanitary neck strip or towel must be used to keep all protective covering from coming in direct contact with a patron. 30 Miss. Code. R. 2101-7.6
