In circumstances where a Mississippi registered landscape architect can no longer provide services on a project due to death, retirement, incapacity, or disability, a successor landscape architect, who is a registered Mississippi landscape architect, may undertake to complete the landscape architectural services including any necessary and appropriate changes provided:
A. a legal transfer of the contractual work has occurred; and B. all references to the original landscape architect (title block, seals, signatures, etc.) must be removed from all documents; and C. the successor landscape architect accepts responsible control for the project; and D. the successor landscape architect complies with all applicable statutes, rules and regulations of the State of Mississippi; and E. the successor landscape architect notifies the Board, in writing, of any projects he is undertaking under the provisions of this rule. 30 Miss.
