Rule 29-1-1-5.1.2 - DEFINITIONS1.Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983 - State law declares that all public records are public property, and any person shall have the right to inspect, copy or mechanically reproduce or obtain a reproduction an any public record of a public body in accordance with reasonable written procedures adopted by the public body concerning the cost, time, place and method of access.2.Public Body - Any department, bureau, division, council, commission, committee, subcommittee, board, agency and any other entity of the state or a political subdivision thereof, and any municipal corporation and any other entity created by the Constitution or bylaw, executive order, ordinance or resolution.29 Miss.
