The Port is governed by the Mississippi State Port Authority Board of Commissioners. The MSPA's five-member board represents Harrison County and the City of Gulfport and are appointed to staggered, five-year terms. Three members are appointed by the Governor, one by the Harrison County Board of Supervisors, and one by the City of Gulfport.
A.Board of Commissioners. The five-member Board of Commissioners is composed of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Commissioner.B.Management. The Executive Management of the MSPA is appointed by the Board of Commissioners, and is composed of: the Executive Director and CEO; the Chief Operating Officer; the Executive Assistant/Human Resources Officer; the Director of Port Restoration; the Chief Commercial Officer; the Deputy Director of Engineering; the Deputy Director of Finance; the Deputy Director of Facilities; and the Deputy Director of Operations. 28 Miss.
