Section 27-110-4.9.7 - Agency Only Non-Competitive Promotional EligibilityA. For non-competitive promotions into positions classified as non-state service or exempt from selection, the agency may consider any candidate employed by the appointing authority. For a permanent state service promotional position, the agency may consider any candidate who has completed at least six (6) months of continuous service.B. Agencies shall submit a current copy of a State of Mississippi Application along with the appropriate position-employee data for those employees to be considered for agency-only, non-competitive promotion.C.
