Section 27-110-4.3.1 - Minimum Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a job classification shall consist of the minimum qualifications listed on the role summary plus any special qualifications, known as job specific supplemental questions, for the position applied for as requested by an agency and as approved by the MSPB Executive Director.

A. An applicant's education/training and experience background, as stated on the State of Mississippi Application, is reviewed in detail to determine qualifications for the position applied for, in line with the approved minimum requirements in the role summary, and any job specific supplemental questions levied by the user agency as approved by the MSPB Executive Director.
B. The MSPB Executive Director shall determine a formula for the evaluation of the training and experience qualifications of applicants. This formula shall give due regard to relatedness as well as quantity of the training and experience.
