Rule 24-3-7.1 - Provisionally Certified Addictions Therapist Requirements - PCATA. In order to be eligible to apply for the DMH Provisionally Certified Addictions Therapist credential (PCAT), an individual must meet ALL of the requirements listed below: 1. Employment Requirement; 2. Education Requirement; 3. Ethics Requirement; AND, 4. Criminal Background Checks Requirement. B. The Employment, Education, Ethics and Criminal Background Checks requirements are outlined in the "DMH Addictions Therapist Certification Requirements - Categories and Descriptions" section of this chapter. 24 Miss.
