Rule 24-2-2.11 - DMH Certification CriteriaA. DMH issues Agency Provider, Service/Supports, and Program Location Certifications for a four (4) year certification cycle unless stated otherwise at the time of certification, except for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Certificates of Operation, which are issued on a three (3) year certification cycle.B. In addition to complying with the appropriate sections of the current DMH Operational Standards, an agency provider must comply with special guidelines and/or regulations issued by DMH for the operation of services and service locations and must update the Policies and Procedures Manual(s) and other documentation as required by these guidelines and/or regulations.C. In addition to applicable DMH Operational Standards, services certified and/or funded by DMH must comply with any additional specifications set forth in individual service grants/contracts, as well as with the requirements outlined in DMH agency provider required forms.D. DMH agency providers must follow federal mandates and guidelines regarding cultural competency.E. Agency providers must comply with the requirements of DMH Provider Bulletins.
