Rule 23-214-1.16 - Clinician Administered Drugs and Implantable Drug System Devices (CADDs)A. The Division of Medicaid defines Clinician Administered Drugs and Implantable Drug System Devices (CADDs) as certain physician-administered drugs, with limited distribution or limited access for beneficiaries and administered in an appropriate clinical setting, which may be billed as either a medical claim or pharmacy point-of-sale (POS) claim, as determined by the Division of Medicaid.B. The Division of Medicaid covers certain CADD drugs which are listed on the Division of Medicaid's website.C. CADD drugs which are dispensed by a pharmacy provider directly to a prescriber for administration do not count toward a beneficiary's monthly prescription drug limits.23 Miss. Code. R. 214-1.16
