Rule 23-103-1.26 - Valuation of ResourcesA. The value of a resource is the amount of an individual's or couple's equity in it. As indicated in the definitions section, the equity value (EV) of a resource is its current market value (CMV) less any encumbrance(s). The pay-off amount for each encumbrance on the property is used in the calculation of its equity value.23 Miss. Code. R. 103-1.26
