Rule 23-101-1.5 - Mandatory Coverage of Pregnant WomenA. Coverage is mandatory for pregnant woman whose household income is at or below the income standard established by the state, not to exceed one hundred eighty-five percent (185%) of the federal poverty level (FPL) converted to a modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) equivalent standard. The Division of Medicaid certifies eligibility for this group.B. The Division of Medicaid extends eligibility to the postpartum period for women who applied and were eligible for Medicaid services on the day their pregnancy ended. 1. This period extends through the last day of the month in which the twelve (12) month postpartum period ends.2.
