The commission shall hold confidential sessions on all matters designated as confidential by the Ethics in Government Law, codified in Title 25, Chapter 4, Miss. Code of 1972. Only commission members, commission staff members, attorneys for the commission, witnesses or other persons whose presence the commission deems necessary may attend confidential sessions. All other persons shall be excluded from the meeting area during confidential sessions. The commission and its staff shall keep separate minutes of confidential sessions which shall not be subject to disclosure.
